Hello Sir Nicolay

I want to ask, which is better, Nikon D90 or Canon 600D? I'm planning to buy a DSLR as my Christmas gift for myself and I will sure take your photography class )) So please help me decide between the two.

Thank you and Godbless,
Bea :>

Both are very good. It depends on your budget, really.

Hi Sir Nicolay! i'm a friend of your former student, Wendell Alinea. I'm not sure if you have heard of his current health state. He was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia last September 2007. He had 3 cycles of chemotherapy and was under maintenance therapy for 2 whole years. He had his last dose of his maintenance chemo on Dec 2010. Unfortunately he had a relapse and had to undergo another treatment of Arsenic Trioxide and bone marrow transplant. As such, we his batch mates from Quesci are organizing an event to help generate funds for his treatments entitled, ROADTRIP : Of Lens and Music which will be held on May 14 at QC Science High School . This event is a benefit unplugged concert and exhibit of the photos he took. We all know that he was under your class and since then have grown the passion for seeing things through the camera lens. It is a celebration of the life and the art of Wendell Rupert Alinea and the strength of his creative will so we are hoping that you could grace this event or perhaps help the event out in any way you can. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Sir Nicolay, I live in Guam and I will go back there in our homeland to take all of the photography courses you are offering, and I am super excited! I don't know when it's going to be since my work is the only one that's stopping me uugghhh! it's so hard for me to take leave, but I'm sure this year I'll take the class. I have Nikon D5000 and I'm taking pictures with it for a year, I am planing to buy Nikon D700 this coming April and will give my D5000 to my brother who will take photography class with me, anyhow I have a question, is there a way I can pay cash? I checked out the online registration form and there's only 2 options of payment BDO and China Bank and I don't have any of those, anyway hope to hear from you soon Sir, I want to be great photographer like you someday, Can't wait to be your student, God Bless..

HI Rhon! I've had a few students who also enrolled while they were still abroad and they paid through bank transfer. I'm not sure how that works but I did get their deposits. Once you're ready, just fill out the form and then I'll send you an SMS (even international, it's no prob); the bank details and other reminders will be sent thru text. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi, I'm an OFW and will be going to home this week. I want to attend your class in Basic Digital Photography and other tutorials this coming Saturday and Sunday(July 17 & 18).
Mitch L. Melleza@ 1:44am 07-04-2010
Sir,
Me & my partner are very interested to attend your complete tutorials, is it possible for us to take all 7 lessons on Saturday & Sunday? we want to finish all the tutorials on that day only since I have work during weekdays and we are from Angeles City, Pampanga.

Mitch
Replied on: 6:57am 07-04-2010

Hi Mitch! If you can only attend in one weekend, just take 6 lessons. If you look at the schedule, it's impossible to get all the seven courses in just one weekend. And I actually will recommend that it's better to take the courses and spread them in at least two weekends. That gives you time to absorb some lessons. And don't worry about coming from Angeles City. I had students who took all the lessons and they came all the way from Pangasinan, Cavite, Ilocos, Bicol and, believe it or not,as far as Davao.

Clarisse@ 12:04am 06-28-2010
hi. i wonder if i can take all the lessons in two days straight? i am from the province and i have a lot of obligations here. i can't be gone for long. i really love to take the lessons.
Replied on: 7:21am 06-28-2010

You can take as many as 6 courses. Due to time constraints, the 7 courses cannot fit into one weekend. Anyway, the 6 lessons would be good already for some people.

Paula G. Diestro@ 3:37am 06-20-2010
hi sir. i just want to ask if you have an afternoon sched for basic digital photography? thanks
Replied on: 7:19am 06-28-2010

Hi Paula. I'm not sure if I could have an afternoon session for a Basic digital photography class because many students prefer to take more than one classes. But I'll try to squeeze in an afternoon schedule sometime in the future.

Felise@ 4:34pm 06-01-2010
Hi! I'm interested to take lessons. I'm super impressed with the photos when and where will be the next class? Do you have any package for amateurs? Thank you! Hope to hear from you.
Replied on: 7:18am 06-28-2010

The packages in the website are all for beginners-hobbyists. The details of the class are in the website. http://www.sirnicolay.com
